Ross Radcliffe has been
a partner in the firm since 1991, and has concentrated his
practice in the representation of water districts and
non-profit housing organizations. Drawing upon his earlier
experience in civil litigation, he is consulted on the bulk of
the firm’s trial work and manages the firm’s mediation and
arbitration activities. In his practice, he has represented
the firm’s governmental clients in developer reimbursement
disputes, condemnation proceedings, election contests, bond
validation suits and tax collection suits , and tax collection
suits as well as various contract and construction disputes.
Radcliffe is a frequent
guest speaker before state and national organizations and
bases his presentations on a variety of his published papers
(e.g., “Board Member Training: Roles Responsibilities and
Risks of Directors of Nonprofit Organizations,” Texas
Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies Conference,
April 1999; “Water District Ethics Policies,” Association of
Water Board Directors, January 2000; “Water District Rate
Orders,” Association of Water Board Directors, June 2002. He
has also made similar presentations to the Association of
Local Housing Finance Agencies Conference, Boston, April 2000
and the Association of Water Board Directors Conference, June
2001.
