Ms. Adams joined the firm in September 2003 after serving as staff attorney with the Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority where she dealt primarily with administrative law and municipal finance issues. Additionally, Ms. Adams' background includes work associated with ad valorem taxation, tax increment reinvestment zones and management districts. Since joining the firm, Ms. Adams duties include serving as general counsel, bond counsel and special counsel to various types of water districts, water supply corporations and private utilities. Ms. Adams' responsibilities also relate to the creation, financing, development and operation of those entities. Ms. Adams also represents several developers and handles their corporate and real estate matters. In addition, Ms. Adams focuses her attention on election law, open government law, strategic partnerships, employment law, contract law and real estate matters.
